Autonomous Drone
I custom designed hex-copters for SwarmX, a startup providing on-demand aerial surveillance services. The challenge was to create a drone that relayed real-time HD camera footage and landed/ took-off from a small target area of 1m x 1m box autonomously!
I developed the drone based on the PixHawk controller and the PIXY infrared tracking sensor (used for precision landing). Additionally I added a lighting system that improved visibility in low-light conditions.

The drone was presented in product demos to investors and customers.
